Sounds a lot like a firm that started up in 1971-ish 'selling' cheaper albums/vinyl by advertising them in Sounds magazine, taking in the orders and then negotiating discounts with the record companies, knowing how many they needed to fulfil their orders by post, and THEN posting them in brown cardboard sleeves. Later, he signed Mike Oldfield to their first own label vinyl, and then started flying airplanes... so there is a business model!! You just need a good name!tvtennis wrote:I have ordered, and paid for both of these re-issues after receiving a post on Facebook that they are available thru PledgeMusic. It has been nearly a month since the order, the card was charged the same day, no order confirmation, not ONE single response from PledgeMusic!

For my part, i have been trying again and again to purchase the whole batch, but never got through Visa payment. According to my bank, it is not admitted as a secure site. The only advantage I see is that it prevents me from wasting money, of course. Yet I don't know how I can manage to get these records. One can already find some of them on ebay. Not at the same price, of course...
It's a pity that pledgemusic don't take Paypal payments.
Anyway, merry Christmas to all of you !

Both Amazon UK and Amazon France have both vinyl and CD for pre-order, as do Cherry Red Records. Might be worth a try!
