Wishbone Beeb Box?

Postby Dondy on Thu Oct 04, 2018 6:43 pm

Dear Andy,

I'm of course still enjoying the Wishbone Box immensly, esp. *ALL** the unearthed live shows. A fantastic set with almost NOTHING to complain about. Well, maybe except that the studio "Persephone" still isn't complete -though you said otherwise in a recent interview. Any info why the un-faded-out version could not be included (or located, for that matter)?

Anyway, you also said a while back that about 75% of the edition was already sold. Any info how the present sales are? I've always taken that Snapper would really consider a Complete BBC box if the first box sells out quickly enough.

Any encouraging news in this respect, per chance? My, there are sooo many excellent sounding, stereo live "BBC in Concert" shows in their vaults (from 1972, 74, 78, 80, 81 and 88). What a joy it would be to hear these in pristine quality, and un-edited-down to 60 min. And there's also some John Peel shows, OGWT et al...

Looking forward to your info. Thanks a lot in advance!

Best regards
from yours,
Th:-)mas

Noticed that the Family box has been followed up by a BBC box, so perhaps there's hope yet when they've finished dealing with that one......
