I fail to understand how ex members are now claiming rights to the bands name - they were in the band and now they are not - I cannot recall any claim being made by SU at the time of his departure and I certainly do not recall any claim being made by TT or LW AND when I saw a band called MT's Bamboo I do not recall during that concert any mention of being denied their name BECAUSE Wishbone Ash were and still are using the name!!!

perhaps one of the reasons that Laurie turned up is that he has the same manager as Martin?, I wonder if that applies to Ted as well, to see Steve there is really sad.

I completely disagree. Hopefully the judge would have done some preparatory work but his verdict will be guided by the evidence presented in court, his assessment of the issue's and personalities involved and to some extent legal precedents in similar cases.After assessing all the evidence presented he can then do much more thorough research and come to his verdict

My cousin was one of the countries most famous criminal barristers before becoming a judge , he dealt mainly with terrorists and murderers rather than this sort of case , he thought a 2-4 week reflection by the judge was appropriate.My cousin says that in these cases the outcome is directly proportionate to the skills of the advocate so lets hope Andy had a top man representing him.

I think Andy's metaphorical use of 'keeper of the light' was a masterpiece frankly, the argument is ALL about the BRAND here and how it has been maintained AND cultivated over the years.

I don't like some of the vitriolic anti-Martin comments on this board ,I also find distastful the comments about Andy on Martins bb, they are too personal but emotions run high when one loves something or someone and frankly I have been 'in love' with Wishbone since I was 16

Andy has MY verdict but I still respect Martin even if I feel his action is ill considered and unfortunate
