I saw Laurie again last night in Jeff Wayne's "War of the Worlds" - he was playing guitars, mandolin, steel and another very strange instrument.
Also in cast were Chris Spedding, Herbie Flowers, Jason Donovan and Marti Pellow (those were the ones I had heard of anyway!!)

I've got the CD, Laurie does a great job. The sound is great although the songs can get a bit samey. I enjoyed it and contains lots of harmony guitars and lots of lead bit by Laurie.

All in all a top effort but not exactly ground breaking. I've seen them live and enjoyed them.

Good straight-ahead no nonsense classic RAWK from some very experienced players. I downloaded the album this week and am quite impressed; definite 4 [out of 5] star album and well worth checking out.

Just noticed their management is that of a former bass player. Probably explains the recent former members shin dig!
