Oh my god! What did I miss in Paris 2015? I am just watching the DVD fort he first time and the old phrase "the boys were really on fire that night" cannot be avoided. Well, three nights it were. What a great collection of stellar and interstellar renditions.

My expected highlight is "Lifeline" followed by "Surface To Air". While the first should actually be in every night's setlist (honestly, think of it!) with Andy singing it with so much conviction, I love the sheer passion with which the band religiously performs the latter. Such beauty! And wow, the three part singing is at a new peak. Never before have Muddy and especially Bob sung so free and upfront. Very, very well done - it makes me proud being a fan.

Well, "Invisible Thread" is perfectly stronger than the album version - and I have considered "Number The Brave" a great overlooked underrated album with a title song tob e a top 20 WA track, so this version is exactly the killer I expected it to be! Love it, play it again soon!

Aynsley Powell is adding a lot to "Front Page News" and "Open Road", both of which are nailed here, the latter being irresistably jammed towards the end. I love it! It's equally great hearing "Disappearing" again in an energetic rendition
The band play with such conviction, they surely have enjoyed making music in Paris - this is not just playing, this is making music!

While WA's last DVD from London was on a huge stage, this DVD has a very intimate feel: A small stage, the boys being close together, the cameras directly in front of them. This is your chance to see the band up-close with a true front-row-feeling. Get this DVD, it is a true testament of musicality!

While some were uselessly argueing about some former member's anecdotal new cd, I've been watching again and again this Lve in Paris dvd. All I have to say is, it was worth waiting for it ! It gets me back to these three sweet spring days, warm weather, blue sky, walking around in Paris, friendly mood... And three great nights, too !
